Junior Fun Time is a bi-weekly gathering specifically designed for young deaf children and CODAs (children of deaf adults) aged 0-10 years. This program offers a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where children can play, learn, and connect with their peers. It also provides an invaluable opportunity for parents and siblings to come together, share experiences, and receive support from our experienced team.
When and Where
- Location: Spencer Dallington Community Centre, Tintern Avenue, NN5 7BZ
- Schedule: Every other week during term time
- Age Group: 0-10 years
- Entry Fee: Nominal fee to cover activities and refreshments.
Activities Offered
- Toys and Games: A variety of age-appropriate toys and games to stimulate learning and play.
- Arts and Crafts: Creative activities that allow children to express themselves and develop fine motor skills.
- Signed Stories: Storytelling sessions with sign language, helping to foster a love of reading and communication.
- Information and Advice: Parents can access information and advice on raising a deaf child, with support from our team and other parents in similar situations.
